Service Description
eBikes take cycling to a whole new level, requiring a different kind of service and subject to higher levels of wear. The increased power output from the motor demands more from the drivetrain and can cost you more if left unchecked. Similarly the increased weight of the bike and mileage that you’ll undoubtedly do increases wear on the braking surfaces. Fear not! We can help you save money. Replacing wearing components at the right time can save you a lot of money. For example regular inspection of the drivetrain wear could require only a new chain, whereas leaving it too long could see you having to replace not only the chain but the cassette, jockey wheels and chainring, potentially quadrupling the parts bill. Something no one wants. 1/4 updates Included in this service – Bosch or Shimano firmware update to improve efficiency and correct function (released quarterly) – Inspection of braking surfaces for wear – Inspection of drivetrain for wear – Safety check to ensure the bike is safe to ride and advise accordingly. £35 Price is for labour only, unless stared parts are not included in service price
